- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 slices crispy bacon
- 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, spread Dijon mustard. Layer each with:
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of crispy bacon
- Thin apple slices
- Top each with another slice of bread, buttered side out.
